Devica and Aniruddh

D- Devica

D: Beginners did a great job describing the festivals of India. Next up is Dance Pe Chance by Hindi Intermidiate 1.

A: Naachna gaana toh hum Hindustani ke roang roang main hai aur agar aap uneme say ho jo naach nahi sakte, toh pysh karte hai "Rab Ne Bana di Jodi" ka gana "Dance Pe Chance."

D: This song will get the dancers on their toes and make the non-dancers take a chance and give dancing a try. All you need for giving dance a chance, is a good saathi. The second song, "Mil gaya hum ko saathi mil gaya" from the move "Hum kisi se kum nahi," encourages us to get our sathees and get on the dance floor and when we get there then we have to see "Kis me kitna hai dum." Yes, the third song they are performing is "Aa dekhe zara," from the move "Rocky."

A: So kya aap sub naachne ko tayat ho? Aagar nahin toh hum aap ko sikayangae aur phir dekhe ke aapke saathi key saath kis main kitna hai dum.

D: We assure you that Hindi Intermediate 1 will show that there is a dancer in each of us. At this time will Gujarathi students please make their way backstage. We hope that you will enjoy this performance.

MARATHI
Anirudhha and Kokila
K- Congratulations to our new officers! We wish you all the best, so that Balvihar may continue to flourish and grow under your leadership.

A- Exactly! Speaking of leaders…… Did you know Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundations for the Maratha empire?

K- Yes, Shivaji Maharaj was known and still is recognized as one of India’s greatest early rulers. Without him, the state of Maharashtra would not be what it is today.

A- He ruled the Maratha Empire after conquering the Mughals, led by Aurangzeb, who ruled at the time. He was a devout Hindu and helped form an independent kingdom long before the British rule. *pause* Now, let the Marathi class take you back in time to witness Shivaji in a daring tale as he escapes from Aurangzeb’s court using his wit and courage.
